SS Great Britain is ideal for a Bristolian summer party combining boats, Brunel and the city’s lovely Harbourside. Originally built and launched in 1843, the ship was returned to Bristol in 1970 and is now an award-winning tourist attraction as well as a one-of-a-kind event venue.
Summer parties can be held in the The Dockyard, which has indoor and outdoor seating where guests can enjoy Pimms and a BBQ as the sun goes down over the harbour. There’s also the Harbourside Kitchen, the SS Great Britain’s café which can seat up to 60 guests inside with outdoor seating and a balcony too.
Ashton Gate Stadium is a premier conference and events venue featuring a wide range of modern function rooms for both corporate and private hire. As one the largest event spaces in the Southwest, Ashton Gate has a room or area to meet all possible requirements – from corporate annual dinners and exhibitions to team building activities and pitchside stage events.
Home of Bristol City Football and Bristol Bears, Ashton Gate Stadium has 27,000 capacity in sports mode and 32,000 in concert mode; 22 executive boxes and an array of meeting/function spaces. For meetings and events, The Lansdown Suite is the premier. Situated in the iconic Lansdown Stand, the Conference Centre can hold up to 1,000 people theatre-style or 850 for a dinner.
St Georges has an array of flexible spaces, including the Glass Studio in the contemporary pavilion-style extension, which can accommodate meetings for three people, and up to 580 in the main hall. The venue has a range of breakout spaces available to compliment your main event booking.
This venue is perfect if you’re looking for something a bit different to a boardroom or hotel conference room. Plus, the use of the beautiful, terraced lawns, whilst still being in the city centre, makes it an ideal choice for your event. Also, as a charity, the revenue generated from your event will go towards supporting the venue’s artistic and educational programmes, as well as maintaining the gorgeous building and grounds.
'Something different' is on everyone’s mind right now and that's exactly what this venue offers. From breakfast to lunch, projectors to microphones, Whistle Punks can cater up to 80 people seated and 160 people standing. The venue provides an unforgettable instructor-led experience, designed for first timers and backed up by a great bar offering and freshly baked pizza to keep guests fuelled. Each throwing lanes fits up to 10 people allowing Whistle Punks to cater for groups of any size for any occasion.
The venue is also available for private venue hire and out-of-hours sessions if you are looking to host a meeting beforehand.
